The End... or is it?

This may be the last post on this blog... all the blogs have been evaluated ( not sure if mine was even evaluated actually... but who cares ) and its time to focus on the more important things in life. Maybe I'll still blog during my 3 month holidays... but I wouldn't hold my breath if i were you. Anyways, It's been fun. l8er.

Im Back!

Haha! It seems neglecting to post 1 day is enough to start a chain reaction of not posting. Test 2 is over~ now it's time to worry about the final~ one test after another~ will it ever end?? I guess not...

Holiday ends, pain does not

Let me tell you a few things that happened a long time ago since I was asleep this whole day. I bit half my tongue off, broke my nose, flew off a swing and landed 20 feet away head first, and none of those can compare to the agony I've been experiencing these 3 days! A pain thats always reminding you of its presence since it's technically my brains next door neighbor.

Still in pain...

Today I had a taste of what it feels like to be "almost" deaf. It’s like I can see peoples mouth opening, but what comes out is barely audible. I had to turn my left ear towards people when talking, which must have looked really weird. Anyway, on other events, BN lost Penang to DAP, which came as a shock to many. But I don’t understand what the fuss is about, DAP winning is not a crisis, it just shows our democracy actually works, and that BN can actually lose sometimes. That’s what I think anyway…

Urghh....my ear~

My ear has been driving me crazy these past few hours! The inside of my right ear has been hurting since I woke up this morning, and the pain's still there right now. Arghh! I cant touch it because it hurts when I do, I cant chew my food because that also hurts, and whats worse I cant even sleep because every time I roll around in bed, I'll inevitably lay on my right ear and BAAM! Best wakeup call ever. *Sigh* Fate can be cruel, a 3 day weekend and I'm stuck with a built-in alarm in my ear.

Time to go home and VOTE!

Tomorrow is a holiday ^^ . Those who are old enough to vote are probably on buses right now, journeying home to vote on Saturday. But for "barely-21" guys such as myself, it's a 3 day weekend! Ok, maybe it's only an extra day, but I'll take 3 day weekends over 2 anytime.

Sir Walk-a-lot Rajja!

Computer Programming class was canceled today, so we only had to attend 1 class at 8.15a.m which was BEE1223 ( Technology ) . Most who attended were more busy completing the weekly report ( Computer Programming ) than listening to what the lecturer was saying. The damned thing took almost 3 hours to complete, and that was just “referring”! *cough-cough*. Doing this on my own would have take a week! ( which was the amount of time given, actually, but who doesn’t procrastinate these things…)

Anyway, we completed it around 1p.m. Rajja asked me where Mr.Shamsuls' ( Computer Programming lecturer ) office was, probably to ask him some tutorial based questions…nothing unusual. I told him it was at the Faculty Office, Mr.Shamsul has probably been promoted and that’s where his new office is.

So off he went, walking towards the Faculty Office, which was quite a distance. I just wanted to hand up my report and be done with it so I rode my Wave to MTK and did just that. Seconds later Rajja gave me a call and said:

Rajja :“Fariq! Hantar report kat mana??”

Me :“Hantar kat MTK la… ko gi jalan jauh-jauh buat pe…”

Rajja :“&^#!)*)&$(&@^!)#)!!!!!!!!!”

Hahaha! That Rajja can be really funny at times. He clearly saw 2 of our classmates walking towards MTK. Why in the world would they do that other than to pass up their report?

So, poor Rajja had to walk all the way back to MTK. I felt kind of sorry for him, so I waited for him to reach MTK and laughed in his face before leaving ( Yea~ I’m EVIL babeh! ). It’s all good, Rajja, you can use the exercise.

The Presentation

As i said in the former post, today we had to do a presentation for Mr.Azmi ( Technical Writing ). Salah, Tajul, and myself, all knew about it, we read the slaids, read the proposal report, so that we could handle any question Mr.Azmi throw at us. Unfortunately, every single one of us woke up precisely at 8.00a.m ( class starts at 8.00a.m ) , which was weird considering that all 3 of us had alarm clocks set 30-60 minutes before 8.

Perfect! Justtt PERFECT! Mr.Azmi is an "approachable person" ( Quote Mr.Azmi ), but if you come late to his class, you’re done for!

So at 8.00a.m everyone was like “ Do we rush to class regardless that we’ll be 30minutes late, get scolded and possibly not get to present anyway~ or do we just start coughing a little and build our excuses from that. “

We decided to go with the first option. What happened next was the fastest I’ve ever seen any one of use get dressed and ready to go. Got on my Wave, made my way to campus, and waited awhile outside of class. Readying my answer for that inevitable question “ Why were you late? “

Unfortunately, there is no answer, I myself have no idea how 3 people can all wake up at exactly 8a.m when all 3 of our alarm clocks are set to 7a.m. What’s more bizarre is that this is not the first time such a thing has happened. The first time I was 30minutes late for Mr.Azmi’s class, it was the same scenario : All 3 that were supposed to attend his class woke up late.

That’s all I feel like writing right now… so…. TO BE CONTINUED...

How to cure an addiction?

I honestly believe there is NO WAY you can totally rid yourself of an addiction. There may be that one time you tell yourself that you rather die than to return to a certain habit. And you may even manage to avoid it a week, a month, or even a year. But when the opportunity comes, when its right there in your face, it's all down to will power. Sadly, few have what it takes to resist.

For those who have weak will power like myself *sob*, cure an addiction with another addiction. Make yourself fall for another habit that you think is less mentally/physically damaging then just pray you'll leave the former addiction, rather than having 2 to cope with!

P/S : Forgot to mention this, but I'm talking about online games addiction. :)

Time 2 Redecorate

I feel like updating the layout of this blog. Maybe adding music, more widgets, or changing the background. Never changed the background for a blog before. I'll be needing some help for this~

This week couldn't have come to an end at any better time! I was so exhausted that i nearly skipped todays classes. Emphasis on the word nearly. Anyways, i guess i wasn't the only one. Almost everyone was out like a light after completing the Friday prayer. Hohoho~

Another day, another post

I'm running out of things to write about... before long I'll probably be writing about my first pet rabbit or something... =.=' *sigh* The things I do for extra marks...

The Treasure

The story i'm about to tell you happened quite some time ago, but make no doubt that it DID happen.

I was happily riding my Wave (my motor's name....hoho) to class when i came face 2 face with the UTHM bus. This was infront of the kubur, next to the mosque close too Pangsapuri Perwira. If you know where that is you'd also know know that the road is kinda narrow, and that the UTHM bus alone could easily occupy 90% of the road. So there's the scenario, big bus coming towards you and barely enough road for you to pass, what do you do?

"Boleh-nyer" i remember my brain telling me, so i just rode my Wave on the outer side of the road, the extra 10% that's more "rocky path" than a "road". This path was "slightly" lower than the tarred road, but i didn't think much about it. So after i passed the bus, i was silently praising myself for my quick thinking under pressure."Caya~lah". My Wave was still moving when the bus passed, and now it was on its way back onto the tarred road. Remember when i said the path was "slightly" lower than the road? Turns out it was "slightly more" than i thought. My front tyre got on the road.

My back tyre didn't.

What happened next happened pretty fast. Here's the chain of thought while i was falling:

"SHIT!">"WALAO JATUH!">"FUIH~NASIB PAKAI HELMET">"BILE NAK ABIS JATUH NI"

Then i was on the ground. My Wave lying next to me.

Got up. Damage Report : 0% Injury

"Perh~ leh masuk Heroes nih! IMMORTAL!"

Then i noticed something a little off. "Cam tinggi sebelah je apsal nih...??". I was missing one shoe! I walked around looking for it, in a daze ( still pening after falling ). Couldn't find it anywhere on the road . "Weird...". Then i saw it, standing righhht in the middle of the river ( i say standing coz that river is so damn polluted.... its more solid than liquid )

*sigh*.... this is sad news. I really liked fixing wires and stuff. It's like folding origami but instead of papercuts, u get electrocuted if u do it wrong.

2nd Sem Resolution

Something like a new year's resolution, only this one's for this semester only. I hate to admit it but it seems my online game addiction has resurfaced. Scary, since it was online gaming that almost destroyed my SPM results.

So, to turn this negative into a positive, my #1 2nd sem. resolution will be :

"Everytime i feel like playing online games i will write a new post for this blog."

That's about it. Not much, but its a start.

Stingy laptop!

Its been a month since we had an internet connection here at Block N. I mean the RM98 per month kind of internet connection, not the "minggu depan ade la~" kind which is offered by the Perwira hostel ( "pangsapuri" is "hostel" right? whatever... ). Sharing an internet connection wasn't that difficult, since I already had an Ethernet switch and the cables, all i had to do was set-up a home network. Turned 1 pc into the host; others into clients.... done. The modem can be plugged into any computer and still be shared.

Strangely, only my computer has problems sharing an internet connection. I can surf the net, but others can't. Its like my laptop doesn't want to share or something! Tried recreating the network, changing ip's, bla~bla~bla~ and still i haven't solved the problem yet! It's like my laptop can see other pc's connected to the network, but not vice versa. Maybe later i'll figure it out, but till then im stuck with this "stingy" laptop! Hohoho!

Happy Chinese New Year!

The CNY holidays have passed. Felt more like 3 days rather than 7. I guess time really flies when you're having fun...

Daily Posting = Full Marks!

Sounds easy enough... i mean, there has to be LOADSSS of stuff to blog about before,during and after class (im being sarcastic here, in case you don't notice). Lets give it a shot.

Today i woke up at 9:55 a.m, rushed my way to class, going at speeds even "mat rempits" find impossible, and reached UTHM in about 3 minutes. Hope i didn't miss anything!

The lecturer arrived 20 minutes later.

Sadly, during the lecture i realized i had little idea what in the world the lecturer was talking about. Even when i manage to focus my mind for 5 minutes and concentrate ( which is close to impossible, for me ) , he looks to the class and says

"Err, and now we know this method is WRONG!"

Thanks, I'm sure exams are all about memorizing and writing wrong answers!

After class there is only 1 primary thing to do, and if you think its assignments... Ha~ Ha~ Ha~

Sleep la~ what else. 1 math tutorial and i feel like im done for the day. They say the brain's a muscle, and obviously i have neglected exercising it for a long time. Anyone with mental endurance tips, please inform me about them because i desperately need them.

Like i said, this is my very first blog. Created this account when i was in Form 5, posted on it 4 years later, abandoning it god knows when *grins*. Anyways, if there is no specification on what i'm supposed to write in this blog, i'd like to make this blog a place to collect my thoughts. Only good ones of course *grins again* Hohoho!
